Eir delivers more than 100,000 fibre connections to rural Ireland

Operator says it is a third of the way through planned rural roll-out. Telecoms operator Eir says it has passed 100,000 fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) premises in rural Ireland out of the 300,000 it agreed with the Irish Government as part of a €200m investment.
