Hungarian broadband: the stats

Magyar Telekom remains the leading provider of fixed broadband services in Hungary, while the country’s main alternative telco Invitel is not raising its market share. Data published the regulator NMHH shows that as of the end of January Telekom claimed a 35.2% share of the fixed broadband market, with UPC (22.2%) and Digi (15.9%) the next largest players. Invitel, on the other hand, claimed 9.4%, as it had done for the two previous months.
